Customer Service & Marketing Representative 

Work Hours: 10am - 6pm (EST) Must be able to work in office (not a remote position) 

Compensation: $17/hr with an opportunity to increase compensation based on quality of work. 

Who We Are: 

Miche Beauty is a natural beauty brand that manufactures our own hair care products for women & men with curly hair. We are looking for a Customer Service & Marketing Representative that will provide front-line support, information and solutions to Miche Beauty customers. The right person will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service that exceeds customer expectations. We have fun at Miche Beauty but the right person will need to be focused and driven.

  • Must be VERY organized and detail-oriented

Responsibilities:

The following is a list of general job responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative & marketing position. This list is not all-inclusive and may be altered as needed. 

Customer Service Job Description: 

  • Answer all incoming customer requests & inquiries via email, phone, and chat: efficiently, courteously, and professionally in less than 24 hours
  • Forward/Tag important email communications to the appropriate department (i.e. Sponsorship requests, interview requests, Collaboration requests, etc.)
  • Process customer order inquiries
  • Assist customers in generating immediate solutions to existing and potential problems
  • Accurately answer payment and general account inquiries
  • Process Customer Refunds and/or Returns
  • Create additional work documents as needed (Customer satisfaction survey, email templates, etc.)
  • Send a daily summary of urgent customer issues to CEO

Social Media Job Description:

  • Reply to Comments on All Instagram Posts
  • Reply to Comments on All Facebook Ads
  • Reply to Comments on YouTube Videos
  • Develop a monthly content calendar for all social platforms
  • Manage & coordinate Influencer campaigns 

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience (Mandatory)
  • 1-2 years call center experience (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of curly hair care (Preferred)
  • Proficiency with Google’s “G-Suite”
  • Proficiency with MS Windows Office Suite
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 35-40 wpm
  • Must have active social media accounts (Knowledge base required to manage comments)
