Tropical Oasis Anti-Humidity Firm Hold Hair Gel

I love how Tropical Oasis gel works alone and makes my curls pop like crazy! I wish the gel came in a larger size. This product works magic on my hair!

This is hands down the best gel I’ve ever used! I have low porosity type 4 hair and it makes my curls clump from root to tip! It also elongates my hair giving me more length. It also feels moisturized and soft when it dries, not crunchy. It smells great! The definition I get is a result of applying WHILE IN THE SHOWER. My hair must be drenched, not allowing any time for the water to fall out. I first apply the product through my hair all at once just to coat it to keep my hair from drying. Then I separate into sections and massage it onto my hair thoroughly. I add water to my hair as needed in order to spread the product throughout my hair. It also has slip so it glides through easily. When it’s time to wash my hair again my hair doesn’t feel dry, but feels well nourished and conditioned. Overall, it’s an amazing gel and I haven’t found anything that I like as much as this!

Great gel nice smell! Been playing wit it for a few weeks and I like to use kore than not for a long lasting hold but it makes my hair feel soft and strong!! Only wish it was a bigger and more sturdy container!

I am someone who doesn’t like gels because of the drying feeling it leaves on my hair but this was a great gel without feeling overly drying. I have very coily hair and this worked best for me ONLY while drenched in water; only applying it in the shower wetting my hair section by section and then applying a little less of a teaspoon worth to each of my 8 sections (I have normal density, shoulder length, thin strands for reference). In the past, I tried using a water bottle and spraying it to dampen my hair and it didn’t work. However, I learned applying it in the shower on my hair while soaking wet mixed amazingly (I do know the CEO did say this gel is activated by water). After raking it in well all over, I let it dry to 50% and used my diffuser without stretching until it was 100% drying. The end product for me lasted 4 days and I washed on day 4 which is the longest use I’ve gotten out of a gel being a sweaty active person. I only stretched my hair using the banding method and used no other product. Flaking was a 3 out of 10, 3 being yes it flaked but it was so minimal I didn’t see it, I only felt it and I’d compare the individual size of flakes to as small as a single spec of garlic powder so it wasn’t big flakes at all. If you are new to this gel, I highly suggest doing what I did especially if you are a type 4 coily hair type of normal/ low porosity and want hold that lasts almost to the end of the week. Then after seeing the gel’s full potential try experimenting it with other products to see how it will do. I know in my experience I prefer hydration and longevity out of gels which this product did for me on its own. I am fine with crunch/ cast because as an active person that’s a clear sign that the product will hold longer which this product did for me.

Amazing! Sometimes I have to use 2 or more products to set my hair however I only had to use this ONE to set my curls. Great hold, feels great on the hair, no flakes! Will be purchasing again!

Fantastic hold and lightly scented. The gel hardens more than I’d like but it will last for sure in those upcoming hot and summer days. I definitely recommend and you only need a little, literally especially if your hair is fine and curly like mine.

Gives you really strong and long lasting hold. If you don’t like having crunchy curls, you probably won’t enjoy it, however I love it!

Love the gel. I usually where a wash and go and generally don't Like gels. This gel works great without other products. My wash and go lasts longer my hair dries faster and my hair feels great.

I’m stunned! Literally can’t believe the definition, it works amazingly well I have a lot of hair and I think I’ll get 2 1/2 maybe use out of this little jug, so It’s a little expensive but I also use the miss Jesse‘s señorita rizada So I can switch out between the two. I just bought another little jug. It smells like memories of the black salon that I used to go to when I was younger, herbal, earthy. I hope the smell fades a little bit. I’m not a fan of the smell, but the product itself Is totally worth it.

This is my new favorite gel. It isn't sticky or heavy and when you apply it, it almost feels like a mouse. I followed the directions by applying it to soaking wet hair and then sitting under a hooded dryer. My curls haven't popped this good in a long time. It has a soft cast that is easily broken with oil and manipulation. My hair last 7-10 days and I could actually go longer. I get so many compliments about how pretty my curls are. Highly recommend.

Great product and easy to apply

This is my first time using the gel and it’s amazing! I set under the dryer for 45min. My curls turned out beautifully!

I’m still learning how to use this gel and what combo to use with it. I’ve seen/heard/read many people have used this alone but my hair requires at least two different gels. I do stretch my hair and workout so that can have an impact on longevity. The major plus is the slip it does provide. With my hair being so tight and textured, slip and being able to detangle while styling has always been a struggle to find in gels. This one does have the slip. I’ve tried it twice so far and wasn’t blown away by the longevity and we’ve had rain both times while using this product. I want day 2 hair for 7-8 days lol it is pricey for such a small amount, so that is also a con. If I can find the right base gel to pair it with to give me the longevity I desire we should have a winner.

This gel is absolutely amazing!! I’ve never used a gel that has actually defined my curls. My hair feels soo soft. I will definitely continue to purchase this product as long as it’s available. I use this gel along with a curl moisturizer, which pairs pretty well. I will definitely branch out and try the other products like the 1-3 steps clarifying shampoo, and conditioner. I also purchased the foaming mousse, which I’m very excited to try.

I love this gel! I have super tight (4b/4c) coils/curls. The scent of the gel is light and fades quickly. And, best of all, it doesn’t flake and it dries fast.

This is a GAME CHANGER! This is a Natural Girl’s DREAM! It makes someone like me who was terrified of wash & go’s (because of my failed first attempt years ago) suddenly have full confidence! The amount of definition in my curls and frizz control really made me happy. It’s important to note that there’s no instructions on the container so go to their website to get the “How To” of this product. A little goes a long way and it conditions hair with a strong hold (hair isn’t hard) so you can use this without a Leave-in conditioner

It's truly amazing!!!! I usually do not write reviews. Either I really love something and I continue to buy it. Or I hate it and never purchase again. The Miche Tropical Oasis gel is worth talking about. This is now my staple product. It's smell wonderful and is very easy to use on my hair. I add the product and diffuse my hair and let me tell you it's amazing. After my hair dries it's curly shiny and has movement. I hope they never stop producing and selling this product because it's the only item I want to use now.

I love the smell and texture and really worked great in my hair as videos said but next day wasn’t so great For Me! Product is great but just not for me had little clumps and also cast was very hard in my hair even when used a little . Will try one more time with different night routine and see and even try maybe with twist out and then see if difference .

It left my curls very stiff.. I like my curls lively bouncing.. I I’m not Sure if I did something wrong. I used the shampoo and the deep conditioner prior to the Gel but sincerely I was a bit disappointed.

This is hands down THE BEST hair gel for wash and go's I've ever used!!! I literally only needed one product (usually use 2-3) to achieve a very defined look. It gave me shine, hold and definition without the crunch or flaking. I am genuinely highly impressed.... never though I could get a good hold and softness at the same time. My only wish is that the jar was bigger, so that it can last me longer. The product does stretch a lot more than I thought though.

I have been using the Tropical Oasis Anti-Humidity gel for a few weeks now. I am sold. It really holds up to its claims. This is a Day 6 wash'n go. I even got rained on a little bit during the week and it's like it never even happened. Even with workouts where I sweat a lot in my scalp, this just kept my style going. I see a lot of ladies saying that the price is a bit costly for 8oz, but I really think people are using too much product. A little really goes a long way. I can see getting at least 8-10 uses out of this. I did notice more flakes with using more on my first application, but that was corrected by using less and making sure to add enough water when setting the style. It also dries fast, at least by my standards. With some gels and combos, I sit under the dryer for 45 minutes to an hour and am still pretty wet at the roots. So I have to wash earlier in the day to allow the hair to dry more, and still use my hand held dryer in the evening to finish getting some spots. With this, I am almost completely dry in 45 minutes or less and only have to go in to my roots with a hand held for a few minutes to get my most dense spots where the product gets trapped. I prefer to wash at night, so this is also a huge plus for me. The hold is firm for me, but I make it less so by adding another product underneath and my style still lasts as long as I need it to, or beyond. I still have to play with it as a solo styler to see if less product and more water might give me a softer outcome. Even with the firmness, I have great movement, even on my short hair I also usually don't like my hair products smelling too sweet, and this is sweet smelling, but not that overly ripe scent, if you know what I mean. The fragrance is citrusy and light so that is wonderful. This is definitely going to be a staple for me. I've already purchased 2 more jars. It would be awesome if Miche would package this in a bottle with a pump, though. In my opinion, you all did an amazing job with this gel. Well done! And please make this permanent!

Product is missing ....trying to get in touch is difficult and once I did I was told to file a claim with the carrier they chose to ship the product with..been close to 3 weeks and no product or resolve from either the UPS company or Miche. I order all the time...have never had this issue that tool so long to resolve. To say the least I won't be ordering again. Stay with a company that actually has a customer service telephone number with a live person on the other end...the email only is a huge red flag.

This smelled better than my strawberry Champagne debacle. : ) I bought this for my 9-year olds hair and it smells amazing and made her hair so soft. Worth the price point. Her waves once it dried were so sick!!

My new go to!!! A family member shared a TikTok video with me about this product and I decided to try it. Was NOT expecting the results. My usual go to product is about a 4-step process. Using Miche, cut it down to two. AND the plus to it all is that after a few days, the bounce is still there and no frizz. I love this product and I hope that the owners consider it a regular product and not a limited time product. Also, it smells great and makes your hair soft vs hard and crunchy.

I have 4b hair dense hair, it took me a while to get through each strand but once I finished I was very satisfied. I’ve been natural for 10 years and this is my first wash and go and im very happy with how it turned out. I’ve already recommended this product to 2 people who complemented my hair. My only gripe was for the hair that was a little more coily around my temples there was visible product after drying. That could have been user error. Otherwise great product and would buy again and also looking forward to trying other Miche products.

I have been searching for this for years. It’s wonderful!!! My hair has been looking so horrible and no amount of conditioner, deep treatments etc helped. I mean they were great but I needed something to help put it all together in the end and this is it. My hair hasn’t looked so good in MONTHS. So much so that everyone at work after wash day complimented my hair. I’m on day 3 and it still looks beautiful. Thank you and PLEASE don’t stop making this.

This gel exceeded my expectations!!! Hands down THE best product I've ever used for a wash and go. Literally no layering of other products needed.... it works beautifully on its own! Shiny, extreme definition (without the crunch), and softness - I'm in heaven. Although the jar is pretty small, somehow the product spreads through the hair without using it all up in a couple of uses. My only request would be to either create a larger jar or sell them in stores so that I never have to worry about running out completely! Lol

I think next time, I'll use with a leave-in for a softer hold. A little goes a long way with this gel because it leaves a strong cast. Still love it though!

Awesome product!! My hair is moisturized, defined, with a nice smell, and lasts a long time. The directions are easy to follow. The customer service is great also. I had a question about one of the ingredients and received a clear and immediate response.

This gel exceeded my expectations with the first use! I didn’t understand the hype at first but I’m a believer now!! There is still some tweaking but I still love that this a one stop gel without adding a second gel!

My experience was terrible it did nothing like on the videos my hair did not curl it just drew up into a nappy fro. Waste of my money and time I am very disappointed and will never buy any of these products again
